Registration Fees:
$ 2.00 per single fish entry
$ 3.00 per pair entry
Registration fees payable to GA Betta Breeders Association (GABBA)
or paid via PayPal to gabettas@earthlink.net. (A donation of $ .50 to help pay for
the PayPal fees would be appreciated.)
Pre-Registration:
Pre-Registration is required for all fish
entries by Wednesday, April 28th, e-mailed to gbba@student.org or mailed
to Dick
Houston, 1849 Service
Drive NE, Marietta, GA 30066-1917. This includes any fish to be walk
in entries on Saturday morning. Walk in entries must be benched by
9:00am Saturday
Shipping Fish:
Fish should be shipped to arrive by 5:00pm on
Thursday, April 29th to:

A copy of your registration form, registration fee check (or copy
of PayPal receipt), return postage, return mailing label and empty
bags
should accompany
your fish.
Return postage can not be deducted from auction proceeds.
Any questions regarding registration or shipping should be addressed
to show chair.
Auction Fish:
Auction fish have the same shipping deadline as show
fish and are to be included on your registration form. Fish must
be marked
as Auction or Auction
only fish. Auction fish not sold will be returned to entrant (provided
return shipping was included) unless otherwise specified. Auction
only fish can be shipped
with your show fish.
Unless marked otherwise, Auction and Auction Only fish will start
with a minimum bid of $3.00. Live auction is for Bettas only. Aquarium
plants,
dry goods, etc.
will be placed on silent auction/sale table.
Auction Split:
Show Fish Auction - 75% Seller and 25% GABBA
Auction Only Fish - 50% Seller and 50% GABBA
Silent Auction / Direct Sale Items - 50% Seller and 50% GABBA
Awards:
Awards (ribbons and certificates) will be given for Best
of Show, Best of Variety and places 1 through 3. Club awards will
be awarded
to
Reserve Best
of Show, Peoples Choice, Most Entries, Most Placings, Most Auction
Fish, Highest Sale Auction Fish and Farthest Distance Entry.
